Mobile Goat Ultrasound Services
Rates:
Farm Call Base Fee: $40.00 within 20 miles of our location near Junction City, OR.
Additional: $1.30 per mile beyond 20 miles
Scanning: $5.00 per goat
Reservation fee: $10.00 to be paid at time of scheduling to hold your appointment. This fee will be deducted from your total cost at time of appointment. (This fee will not be refunded if missed/cancelled appointment- see below).
Large Herd discount: Save $1.00/head if you have 10 or more does needing to be scanned!
Do you want to know if your doe is pregnant? We are now offering mobile pregnancy diagnosis via ultrasound!
What can I do?
I can scan your goats and tell you if I see a pregnancy or not.
What can't I do:
I cannot diagnose illnesses or recommend any treatments.
Before you schedule an appointment:
Please be aware of you does approximate due dates and how far along they are.
The best time to scan and get an accurate count is 45 days. This is the best time to see and count kids.
I am happy to scan earlier or later, but I might not be able to give you the most accurate answer.
Please be prepared:
Please have the goats caught and in a secure location prior to my arrival.
Goats must be secured via a stand or some sort of handling system.
If rain or stormy weather is in the forecast, please have the scanning area under cover to help keep my equipment safe.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, no worries! Please give me at least 24 hours notice or the $10.00 deposit fee will not be refunded.
Information to know:
I will arrive at our scheduled time and designated location.
I will wear gloves and rubber boots that have been cleaned and disinfected to help keep your goats (and mine) safe!
I will spend 5-10 min per goat scanning for a pregnancy.
You may snap a picture or video of the ultrasound while I am scanning.
